Based on the current (facelifted) 997 Porsche 911 Turbo, the Sportec SPR1 FL is the successor to the SPR1 R.
This SPR1 FL is this year's Geneva star for Swiss tuner Sportec and features several changes compared to its predecessor, including the new semi-sequential gearbox, new facelift LED taillights, rear bumper and side mirrors. Output remains roughly the same, though.
Still, that total output rating is an impressive 858 PS (631 kW / 846 bhp ) or, as Sportec likes to put it, a Golf GTI at each wheel. Torque is uprated a little to 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) over the previous 869 Nm (641 lb-ft).
The SPR1 FL gets its new identifying moniker, 'FL', from the new Smooth Flow intake manifold with two injectors per chamber. Also part of the substantial work done on the 3.6 liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine is a Carbon Ram Air intake system, high-performance intercooler and two hybrid turbochargers.
That new 6-speed manual transmission is fitted with a Sportec high-performance clutch and features oil cooling and works with the all-wheel drive system with a limited-slip differential with 60/60 percent locking effect.
Top speed is 380 km/h (236 mph) with 0 to 100 km/h clocking in at a flat 3.0 seconds. 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) is 9.7 seconds while the 300 km/h (186 mph) mark is hit after an all-out acceleration lasting 18 seconds.
