US car maker Singer makes only one car. It is the Porsche 911.
But before you scream ‘copyright!', hold on - Singer takes a classic long-wheelbase 911, strips it, and then fills it up with spangly new bits from today's Porker. So you get a stitch-welded monocoque reinforced with carbon-fibre, air-cooled engines from the 1990s 911s (ranging from 300bhp to 425bhp), a bespoke interior, the 993's Brembo brakes and the all-important option of racing-stripes.
Following 2009's fruity orange concept, Singer has released images of it's very first production model, the Green Giant you see above. Each one is handbuilt and the second model is already under construction by the Los Angeles spanneristas. Prices are subject to a) what options you spec and b) the size of your wallet.
