Fresh from their Geneva debuts, the Ferrari Four and Lamborghini Aventador are proving to be critical sales successes.
First up, Business Week is reporting the production version of the Ferrari Four (FF) concept has been sold out for its first model year. Priced at €260,000 ($363,300 / £223,570), the company didn't have any problem selling the 800 units that will be built during the inaugural production run.
As you may recall, the FF is powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine that develops 660 PS (485 kW / 651 hp) and 683 Nm (504 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a double-clutch transmission which enables the 1790 kg (3946 lb) concept to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed 335 km/h (208 mph).
Likewise, the Lamborghini Aventador has also been sold out for its first model year. No word on production figures, but pricing starts at €255,000 ($379,700 / £201,900).
Under the hood, the Murcielago replacement features a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Paired to a seven-speed transmission, the car sprints from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
