The De Tomaso Deauville might have been a tad disappointing, but a new report is indicating the highly-anticipated Pantera revival will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
Details are limited, but the Pantera is expected feature a Pininfarina design, a lightweight aluminum chassis, and a V8 engine that develops 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS). Production is targeted at 2,000 units annually and the model will be built at the company's factory near Turin, Italy.
As you may recall, the newly reconstituted De Tomaso is lead by Gian Mario Rossignolo - a former Fiat executive - who has plans to offer a three-model range that includes the Pantera coupe, the Deauville crossover, and a luxury sedan.
