Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone out there who voted in this year’s National Television Awards, even after Andy Wilman asked you not to.At last night’s glittering ceremony somewhere in Essex, Top Gear romped home to our third NTA for ‘Best Factual Programme’, swatting aside the likes of Celebrity Masterchef, Junior Apprentice and Who Do You Think You Are?
And all this despite the fact, as Jeremy pointed out on stage, that: “Top Gear hasn’t had a single fact in it for almost seven years now.”
