Lamborghini’s future supercar teased again

We’ve seen plenty of teaser images during our time behind the computer screen, but none are as enticing as Lamborghini’s teasing of their new supercar. Sure. the teaser images suck just as much as everyone else’s, but this vehicle is actually one that has us on the edge of our computer chairs waiting for even the tiniest glimpse as to what the supercar looks like. We’ve already received our first peek in the form of a photo capturing, well nothing really, and now we have our second image which shows more of nothing.
The Lamborghini supercar is rumored to be called the Jota and is set to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show just 16 days away. The company has yet to give out any details, but we do know that it will be coming just in time to replace the current Murcielago.
When talking about the future supercar, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said: "The key factor in terms of better handling and acceleration, meaning more immediate pleasure in driving, is the power-to-weight ratio. This is not so much about top speed and so the future will not be so focused on increasing the power, even because CO2 emissions do play a role for supersports cars too. That means the key is in reducing the weight."
So far, all we know is that Murcielago successor will be built on a new carbon-fiber tub and will use as much aluminum and carbon fiber as possible to reduce weight. The "Jota" will hit a top speed of 230mph and will sit on new 21" wheels over upgraded Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. It will also come with Audi’s torque vectoring technology which offers even better handling.
The countdown is on! We’re sure we will not be disappointed!
